THE HEART BEHIND EVERY DISH
Our StoryMás que comida, es familia.

OUR BEGINNINGS
Rooted in Family and Flavor
A taste of home, a celebration of heritage, and a tradition shared through every meal.
Every great meal tells a story. Ours begins with the rich flavors, cherished traditions, and unmistakable warmth of the Dominican Republic.
Ajo y Orégano was born from a simple passion: to bring the authentic taste of Dominican home cooking to the heart of New York City.
From the comforting aroma of a home-cooked meal to the familiar flavors that remind us of Sunday afternoons surrounded by family, every dish is a celebration of where we come from.
Our roots began in the Bronx, where we created more than just a place to eat. We created a place to reconnect with the flavors of home, share unforgettable moments, and experience the warmth of Dominican hospitality.
From Our Family to Yours
What started as one restaurant on White Plains Road has grown into a second Bronx location in Crescent avenue, with dreams of bringing our flavors beyond New York and into New Jersey.
But as our family grows, our promise remains the same: authentic recipes, fresh ingredients, generous hospitality, and food prepared with heart.
Because at Ajo y Orégano, we're not simply serving food. We're keeping traditions alive, bringing people together, and sharing a little piece of the Dominican Republic with every plate.
Ajo y Orégano — Más que comida, es familia.
